Birds are a necessary evil that nonetheless are good with Turn 2 Groundbreaker

but he already has 8 other accel creatures to play turn 1. i think birds is taking up the space of what could be another pumpspell or another fast creature. perhaps another moldervine cloak could be added.

-8 Forest, +4 Stomping Ground, +4 Mountain, -4 Timbercrap, -4 Boreal Druid, -1 Harmonize, +1 Moldervine Cloak, +4 Char, +4 Kird Ape
I fixed your deck.
If you don't like Char, Brute Force is good too

TimberWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?
It's Groundbreakers five through eight, for crying out loud. Nothing else breaks through a wall of creatures 'cept Birds with Cloaks and Char to the dome.
Well TBH I just like doing 13 with Timbermare+2xMoOK.

Timbermare sucks, plain and simple. No self-respecting aggro deck has room for 8 4-casters, let alone 12. You can argue that Solifuge, Timbermare, and Harmonize are effecitvely 3 casters, but I still counter that 12 is too many. 6-8 is the right number in the 3 slot. Solifuge is ten times better than Timbermare ever hopes to be. If you are concerned about blockers, here's a concept for you: PLAY REMOVAL. If you want to play MGA, here are your options for avoiding blockers:
1) Trample 2) Bash THROUGH the blockers 3) Play a cheap, evasive creature and pump it (Silhana Ledgewalker carrying Blanchwood Armor comes to mind)
Another note on Ball Lightning and its variants (I think what applies to Ball LIghtning applies to Groundbreaker as well): I have played RDW extensively over the past four years, and I can tell you that the primary purpose of Ball Lighting, and its red buddy Blistering Firecat, is not to bash through creatures. It is to punish people for leaving their pants down. This happens most of the time in two situations in order of prevalence:
1) You are facing a control deck that drops its pants for a wrath effect. 2) You are racing an oppsoing aggro deck, and they attack out and tap out.
Those are the two most important situations for Ball Lightning. Given that Timbermare is a crapshoot in situation 1 most of the time (less damage, more mana) and a not much better in situation 2, I really don't see why I would ever need it, when I get Solifuge. Solifuge is FAR better at fulfilling this role, as while it does less damage than Ball Lightning, IT STICKS AROUND. Do not underestimate that fact. Either way, Solifuge serves as the backup to Ball Lightning admirably well, while providing a solid threat to boot. It is falt out better than Timbercrap. Without further ado, I willl present an MGA skeleton that I would run. The curve isn't quiet what I'd like, because of the lack of good, aggressive drops in certain slots, but it should do as a starting point.
21 Forest 1x Pendlehaven
4x Llanowar Elves 4x Boreal Druid 4x Silhana Ledgewalker 4x Elvish warrior 4x Groundbreaker 4x Giant Solifuge
3x Blanchwood Armor 3x Moldervine Cloak 4x Might of Old krosa 3x Call of the Herd 2x Stonewood Invocation/Harmonize
[edit]Note: I personally thing Gruul is better than MGA ever could hope to be. But if you want to run 1 color, Green is better than red.
[edit2]Bascially, don't look at Groundbreaker as a creature. It's a glorified burn spell, not a creature.
Note2: If decks featuring the likes of 3 damage instant speed burn become popular (Lightning Helix currently, Incinerate after 10th), Might of Old Krosa will become Giant Growth. The reason is simple: It allows you to play out Groundbreaker against open burn mana. If you are holding Krosa, and you drop Groundbreaker, you look stupid as your opponent helix's it for a 9 point life swing. If you are holding Giant Growth, you calmly cast Giant Growth and swing for 9. If he isn't holding the spell, you hold the Giant Growth for later.

So, the list I posted is a lot better than I thought it would be. It's actually really fast. Funny game against Boros:
My opener: Forest x4, Ledgewalker, Blanchwood, Giant Growth
Me: Forest, go Him: Foundry (18), Lions, go Me: Forest, Ledgewalker, go Him: Flagstones, Attack (18), Soltari Priest, go Me: Forest, Blanchwood on Ledgewalker, Attack (14), go Him: Mountain, Attack (14), go Me: Forest, Groundbreaker, Attack Him: Lightning Helix Me: Giant Growth Him: Ow (3)
I won the game next turn.
